GLOBOLIZATION A CURSE OR A
BLESSING TO THE TANZANIAN POOR?

The past two decades, have been dubbed with optimism, in which the world wealth, were to be redistributed in the context of globalization, characterized by free movement of people, labor –expertise- technological revolution and other economic resources, from the world richest to world poorest. This was an invention meant to tame the brute force of poverty across the world. Unfortunately, the opposite has occurred, with the developing nations submerging deeper into massive poverty and destitution while the richer getting the biggest pie.

Major players have won; United States, the Europeans, and Chinese are some of the biggest winners. A few Innovators from the Asian continent such as Indians, South Koreans have also experienced paradigm shift, seeing their exports swelling threefold, and their economic muscle-bicep bulging, while majority of the world poor, seeing their hopes fade away. Globalization debate is quite tricky; each side is blaming the other. Americans and the west for example, are blaming their political leaders for having created an environment that led to some of their jobs being exported at the expense of cheap labor in developing world

Human rights advocates have been decrying for many years, a modern day slavery and exploitation of the minors and world poor, in which underage children, and even professionals around the world, work longer hours at a meager pay. They work in perilous environments, to produce some of world most sought after gadgets and products. Liaoning for example is a Chinese industrial province, where human misery is evidence. Thousands of underage children lines up in the streets each morning to attend torturous and long hours of factory work, producing western bound products.

In Tanzania for example, Globalization has brought about multinationals. It has brought the emergence of social classes, the rich billionaires and the poor. It has also hastened the rapid depletion of natural resources, and made life more miserable to the citizens than previously thought. It has brought exploitation and bolstered corruption. Today as we speak; many corporate giants are operating in our country with impunity. They are importing very basic commodities easily found in the country from their overseas suppliers. This is because we have weak economic policies that do not favor or protect domestic farmers and manufacturers

Globalization has pushed us into dependence, and turned us into a beggar society. Tanzania has become a dumping ground for fake expatriates and dangerous goods from around the world. In the name of free market economy [globalization] our once vibrant, factories have been privatized or simply died. These factories which symbolized our independence, have been sold at throw away prices, and no one dared raising a finger, thank you to globalization and corruption for creating a time bomb of seismic proportion, which needs to be diffused before it is too late

One of the largest beer companies in the country is importing barley; a key ingredient in beer brewing from South Africa, yet the same commodity is available domestically. The same company is importing beer bottles that can be produced domestically, and the clueless consumer is busy feeding into the hype of social responsibility from these multinationals by buying their products without knowing the damage they are causing into our economic vitality. They are denying our farmers a chance to sell their commodities, and our leadership is quite comfortable as if nothing is happening, not knowing that barley farmers in Manyara and killimanjaro needs to sells their agricultural produce to send their children to school.

Policy makers in the countries that have historically benefitted from globalization, including United States, European union, and China, erected monocratic trade barriers benefitting farmers in their respective countries. These wealthy nations refused to end agricultural subsidies and other protectionist mechanisms, thus distorting world commodity prices which would have helped developing nations that depended on farming. They have tightened access to their markets, negating the entire concept of globalization. Why can’t we protect our domestic factories and even agricultural farmers from this one sided exploitation?

I am not a proponent of protectionism, I support free trade. However, when policy makers turn a blind eye on very basic economic principals of trade denying local producers a chance to sell their commodities at the local market – domestic companies- you wonder what is the gain, for having these companies in our country? Consumers are not going to be blind forever, keeping on drinking beer, without pondering the facts behind the scenes. Consumers are not going to continue supporting, and cheering phone and beer companies forever. They are going to realize the damage and erosion of our morals and values, hidden behind sponsorship of unnecessary entertainment, and beauty pageantry, as opposed to economic development

Many of these multinationals are enjoying massive tax breaks, while hard working Tanzanians both from within and outside the country, are forced to pay fortune for small items they ship from abroad, which in many cases ends up being abandoned anyway, because the shippers have no power to tussle with the TRA officials. Before Gold Company, globally known for serious human right violations stepped into North Mara, the strange diseases being experience never existed, and were unheard of. Water sources were clean, the land was rich with gold, and people’s future was bright.

Today, INNOCENT people have died, and strange skin ailments are becoming so prevalent, that no even care about them anymore. Water sources have been polluted, the land rich with gold is becoming empty craters, and lives of the people are getting worse each and every day. Not to mention the lingering environmental catastrophe. Thank you to globalization, country’s leadership, poor laws, and political establishment that can remain quite while the people are dying.

It is the curse of globalization that has propelled corruption to higher heights, and stripped our country of common sense, widened the gap, and started the class war between the haves and have not’s. Globalization is making people homeless, as housing is becoming unaffordable to the majority poor in urban areas. Our culture is being lost to modernization; lifestyles are becoming monotonous, as MTV and social networks spreads the virus of “West is the best mentality”. The fabric of our social values is being torn apart by globalization which, tends to favor western ideals that we blindly follow, without knowing their ramifications

Globalization has changed the world and our country as well. Even though it was expected to have positive influence to the entire mankind, only a few nations can truly boasts its benefits. Tanzania has fallen a victim to globalization; as her fundamental social values have been eroded. Leaders careless for the country, as long as they can sign lucrative contracts, that will guarantee them a chance to pocket millions of dollars they need for their children schooling abroad, their European vacations, and posh homes in Masaki. Maybe we need to remind them to check on the broader interest of the nation

Maybe we need to remind them that, their posh lifestyles are unsustainable as long as they are surrounded with masses that have no shelter, surrounded with people who can’t afford to educate their children in basic domestic schools, and at a time are forced to sleep with nothing to eat. They are unsafe as long as global corporate giants are walking tax free yet a poor peasant has to be arrested for not paying taxes. We need to remind our leaders that, in our very own country, there are thousands of children walking naked because their parents cannot afford clothes for them, for Globalization has pitted them against the rest of the world

Even though globalization can be blamed for some of our economic failures, we must also take responsibility for recycling inept politicians- leaders- exempting foreigners looting out country’s wealth from paying taxes. We must remind them that, they are never so safe as long as the majority of workers in the country are exploited through poor wages by multinationals. Our leaders are never as safe as long as the wage gap between continue to swell, in which some are paid so little yet leaders’ wealth is mysteriously swelling. Let’s remind them that, economic vitality of a nation is the key component to a peaceful and prosperous nation.

Times have changed, we can no-longer sit and dwell upon our misery, poverty and hopelessness, and expect the world to come and rescue us from poverty. Let’s change our thinking, let’s revolutionize our nation from a nation of beggars to a nation of givers. Let’s deviate from being a society of greedy and gluttonous wolves to a nation of Spartans. Let’s transform our people from being fanatics and blind followers, to development visionaries and economic zealots. We must all work together to rid our self of mental and intellectual poverty, as these are the main impediments to turning globalization from being a curse, to the best ideology ever invented by man

John, I must differ with you slightly here. Globalization failure cannot be blamed on one leader, it is entire government policy failures.

The winners knew how to implement thir fiscal and economic policies, which is a problem in our country, and that is why we are going to see the idea as a curse.

So you can forget about making noise on this for the time being uncless you join the government and shw us what you got.

    Afrika yageuka koloni mamboleo

John Mashaka, I agree with you in entirety, and from a globalolization perspective, it may seem trite to affirm that the world needs the participation of U.S. organizations — but it is nonetheless true. U.S. science and industry are on the cutting edge of sophistication. U.S. organizations are generally well run and have the financing and staff to produce products and services that are the envy of the world. But does this mean that U.S. organizations can sit back to wait for the world to come to them, on their terms? Most definitely not. In a dismaying but growing number of cases, U.S. organizations are being by-passed by organizations from other nations that have mastered the ability to form and to lead global initiatives. These are the organizations with which the U.N., the World Bank, ISO, WHO, and the other global policy-making bodies are working. But there should be no illusions, individual Americans are participating in such initiatives — it is just that they are not doing so by means of their own, U.S.-based organizations. It used to be that the brain drain always worked in the United States’ favor. But if U.S. associations are to retain their best and brightest members and to play a meaningful role in the new global economy, their professional managers are going to have to develop ways of grappling successfully with the dilemma of globalization — implementing global concepts at the local level while fostering an appreciation of the importance of local concerns on a global basis

As a Tanzanian, I strongly object to our leaders spending our tax dollars attending Investors’ Conferences abroad without addressing the poor state of our country first. Foreign investors will not simply pour millions of dollars into our economy just because they shook our President’s hands.

At the moment, our whole infrastructure is broken down. We have shortages of water and electricity. Our labour laws are complex. The government services are poorly delivered by corrupted and often ill-trained bureaucrats. Our court system works at a snail’s speed. Our education system is out of date. Our doctors lack equipments and medicine to treat patients with serious medical conditions.

Endemic corruption at all levels of the government means that the rich and the politically connected individuals are above the law. The laws to protect life, liberty and property are in the books but hardly enforced by the corrupted system. Government officials and big shot businessmen steal billions of shillings from the treasury with impunity and are then bailed out by the courts. Yet, a poor citizen charged with a bail-able petty crime faces years in jail waiting for a verdict because he can’t afford to bribe a judge.

Tanzania is blessed with many natural resources and a fertile land. One must wonder then why our country is still poor and can’t seem to attract major investors. The latest figures from The World Bank (www.fdi.net) shows that we have attracted only $370 million dollars in 2006. This is such a small change. Chile, a South American country, exported $700 million dollars worth of just wine last year, according to the BBC site. To understand why we have very few major global players in our country, we need to re-visit our history.

We lost three decades of development because we were governed by a one-party socialist regime of Mwalimu Nyerere. Any Tanzanian who worked hard and got wealthy was immediately seen as a traitor to the system. Many businesses were nationalized and many properties were confisticated from their right owners. The economy was quickly ruined, Zimbabwe style. Industrialists were not able to buy raw materials and new machineries to expand production. Ownership of foreign currencies was prohibited and subject to a jail term. Price controls were in effect. Few people were allowed to leave the country for further studies. This political climate discouraged further investments in all sectors of the economy and stunted our academic development for many years to come.

As a result of negative growth, people got poorer as decades passed. Soon enough, Nyerere had to swallow his pride and begged friendly nations for food even though Tanzania had a fertile land. The educational system was totally ruined. Government-controlled universities chocked academic freedom and forced many professors to leave the country. Those who stayed behind were not able to go abroad to update their skills and lectured generations of graduates with the same stale disciplines with a strong dosage of socialist ideology. Mandatory military service before university discouraged many parents from sending their children to universities.

Our people developed a dependency addiction. They expected the socialist government to take good care of them for life with minimum work. They expected to be employed, fed, and housed cheaply. This was the dreamland installed into their minds by the socialist propaganda machine.

Our past is hunting now. It is difficult to change the mentality of dependency as exemplified by our own government towards foreign aid. Strong work ethics is also missing in the society. The economy is still running on a twelve-hour rotation instead of twenty-four as found in many other countries.

Availability of skilled labour, presence of a solid middle class, political, social and economic stability, good infrastructure, attractive business policies, independent judiciary system and good medical facilities are some of the factors that are taken into consideration when investors decide to go overseas.

We should open our eyes and minds and learn from others. Japan learned to make cars from America, and now they beat them hands down in their own economy. South Korea learned to make electronic products from Japan, and now they compete head to head with Japanese electronics worldwide. Brazilians learned to make aeroplanes from America and Europe, now they sell them Brazil-made aeroplanes worth millions of dollars a year.

When Brazil and South Korea emerged from years of dictatorship, their government set up a committee of scholars and tapped their brainpower to develop their countries. The scholars were hand-picked and graduated from prestigious universities of the west. With hard work, they managed to transform their economies beyond recognition. Millions of their people were lifted from poverty and into the middle class. Foreign investors took notice and started investing in their economies. Within two decades they developed world brands such as LG, Samsung, Hyundai, Embraer and Petrobras. At the moment, we have many Tanzanians who have studied in prestigious universities in the west. And this is just the beginning of the reforms urgently needed to make our country attractive.

Many of them have been discouraged because the government is not sincere in reforming the system. There are so many reforming committees at the moment in various sectors of the government. However, they lack the power to enforce unpopular but necessary reforms and are under the supervision and employment of the government.
Investors take one look at our $27 billion dollar domestic market (GDP) and see what it can offer against $1.5 trillion dollar market of Brazil or $3.6 trillion dollars market of India. Soon enough you can guess where the investor will head. The slow growth of our economy for so many years is the reason why we need to reform so urgently. These Investors’ Forums will not be effective because we are just not well-equipped to make investors comfortable with their money.

We have tax-free access to many developed markets, part of the aid package to help our local industries grow. Unfortunately we can’t take advantage of this generous offer because we lack sophisticated industries to produce export-quality products. We are losing a golden opportunity to establish a global Tanzanian brand for free. (It usually takes billions of dollars to establish a brand name in the global market). Furthermore, agricultural products and minerals by themselves are not enough to lift us from poverty. We need to produce high-tech products and services to sell to the global market. No country in the world has gotten rich from selling coffee, bananas and tea. Mineral resources are only useful if we can develop our own technologies to mine them and not share profits. Currently, we are forced to give tax credits and other incentives to foreign miners and the profit margin is not enough to support even the neighbouring villages around the minefields to have access to clean water, schools, hospitals and power supplies. We need our experts to come up with a business plan which will be beneficial to both the investors and the people of Tanzania. If the Australians, Canadians, Brazilians, South Africans and Chileans can mine their own fields, why can’t we? What’s stopping us?

They have been exposed to new ideas and business plans which best fit the current global business.

    Nigeria's GDP: 127 Billion USD
    Kenya's GDP: 37 Billion USD

South Africa's GDP: 187 Billion USD
    India's GDP: 3.6 TRILLION USD

Real tears are not those that fall from the eyes and cover the face, but are those that fall from the heart and cover the soul...Mashaka yors are real tears!

To worry about what you can influence is stupid, to worry about what you can’t influence is useless...You go Mashaka

Never deprive someone of hope; it might be all they have. A word of encouragement during a failure is worth more than an hour of praise after success....You are on the right truck Mashaka, yes you are!

Human Rights are part of a philosophical and cultural foundation that places the dignity of the human person above all. Rights and freedoms are unalienable and inherent because human beings are entitled to them independently of decisions taken by governments, groups or other individuals or institutions. They are not granted but intrinsic to human nature. Therefore, for human rights to be respected they must be a tangible product of a moral order based on a higher authority transcending human limitations and wants. Some of the most advanced countries of the modern World have acknowledged this imperative in their own Constitutions and Declarations of Independence. And corruption undermines the human dignity, excemption of foreigners from paying taxes, puts the pandemic right in its right place

Mr. Mashaka, there are many other factors you did not include in your well thought article housing problems in the region is astonishing, the problem has been engineered by the globalization, in which free movement of people brings even Somalia pirates, and I agree with you 100% on this one.the housing market in East Africa is getting out of hand. People in Kenya are blaming Somali pirates for investing in Nairobi and willing to buy houses at any price, and now they are in Tanznaia too, and once they show mafisadi American dollar, they get anything they want.

I am must agree that Saint John Mashaka, is always good at raising controversial issues many of us are scared of touching. the discussion on social welfare and ageing is picking up and it is moving deep to informal from informal sector and unavailing gender consideration aspects. As a moderator I will like to pick key messages for informing policy but am afraid most of the discussions are in a vicious cycle of sharing experiences and importance of inclusion certain group or sector without linking to the national policy on ageing. I encourage members to go further breaking the vicious cycle by providing policy recommendation statements and how to implement it. Policy makers are convinced if they are provided with scenarios of policy recommendation.Having saying that there are really good points raised regarding inclusion of informal sector in pension schemes. The contribution of this sector to employment is nearly 75% of the active population. Most of their activities are outside the tax system and tend to be mobile including some of their assets. How can they be administered for a sustainable social security scheme? What policy prescription can be written to policy makers? can someone provide a best practice from elsewhere?

John Mashaka, wee kiboko. nina nukuu,,,,

"In Tanzania for example, Globalization has brought about multinationals. This is because we have weak economic policies that do not favor or protect domestic farmers and manufacturers"

Waswahili ni watu wa ajabu sana. Mashaka is using this forum to attack political and economic rivals of the United States under the pretext of having concerns for Tanzania and Africa. He is even writing in English language so that those he wants to align with can see his position. The man is building support from US authorities so that one day they can say 'this is our boy' who fought for our interest for years

Huyu ni mtu very biased and manipulative.
The man is an open opportunist who is using Tanzanian situation for his own selfish motives.

Mbona u have bever critized US's policies amabazo hata Obama mwenyewe amekiri zimekuwa na makosa kibao. Huyu ni kibaraka, uzembe wenu na uvivu wa kushindwa kusoma between the lines will cost you. Muulizeni Mashaka kwa nini he never criticizes US policies in public and why does he write in English if he really wants to be understood by Tanzanians and has your interests at heart?

    56. John Mashaka , you have very good ideas, BUT GLOBOLIZATION HAS given birth to another class of the people. The problem is the leaders dying to be rich, and now at their expense our shilling is becoming a worthless as toilet paper the shilling will continue to fall because the big wigs controls the economy. They are the owners of the burea de changes mjini Dar. It is unfortunate that our country us nit ready for change, and will sink deeper into poverty. See small countries like Nepal is considering devaluing its currency because a decades-old peg with the Indian rupee is posing problems for its monetary policy and competitiveness, the central bank governor was quoted as saying.
Yuva Raj Khatiwada, the newly appointed governor, told the Financial Times in a report published on Monday that Nepal needed to reconsider the currency peg "in the medium term" because of the disparity between India's fast growing economy and that of its landlocked neighbour.
The peg holds the exchange rate at 1.6 Nepali rupees per one Indian rupee.
"We have been overly stressed to maintain the peg," Khatiwada said, noting that India's economy was growing at twice the rate of Nepal's economy.
The governor said that India's rupee was appreciating because of the country's economic strength and capital flows

This is a very sensitive subject that I felt relieved at last its addressed when I was reading it. I am glad to know that there is another person 'a Tanzania' or An African who has the same concern. Well .

'Tanzanians are toying with a ticking bomb' ... Well, Mashaka, as much as it might sound easy for the government to strategize in cubbing this fake item(s)pandemic, we should not forget that it is the SAME GOVERNMENT AMBAYO INATUTOA KARAFA' by not having ETHICS and INTEGRITY that will protect and defend an ordinary Tanzanian.

My concern is i) what are our government incentives given to government doctors so that they are commited in there jobs and not juggling with own private practice and using uncertified medicines that have polluted Tanzania today, to cure patients?

Eg My father died from Chinese malaria tablets which were presribed by a prominent government doctor with a private practice,... and he is not the only one who fell to this fate' with the analysis done of the medicine 'of course not in Tanzania' seemed the tablets had a concotion mixer not suitable for human consumption.

Watu wetu wa kupima madawa na vyakula fit for human consumption wako wapi wakati tons and tons or containers and containers of these fake goods are arriving in our ports and bouders? Wako wapi hawa TRA wanao certify na kucharge kodi hii mizigo? or have they also selfishly and stupidly succumb to 'everyone has his/her price tag' slogan?.

We should not forget that hawa wawekezaji wakiingia katika Nchi wanawatarget hawa wakubwa i.e. directors, Commissioner generals of taxations bodies, police ets na kuwapatia what there price tag demand and once they do that, they are guaranteed protection and network with the top tier and that is it.

Mashaka its a long route to take for our leaders that we have put in power to have a desire of protecting us MINUS a desire of adding six figures into there private account balances. As helpless as this fake goods/items may seem, if at all Tanzanias need to have changes, THE CHANGES HAVE TO COME FROM THE TOP, AND I MEAN FROM TOP OFFICES IF NOT,

THEN we are focusing our energy in wrong places, tunahitaji kuchimba mzizi na sio kukata matawi otherwise we should just acknowledge that there will never be fruitful outcome.

"Times have changed, we can no-longer sit and dwell upon our misery, poverty and hopelessness, and expect the world to come and rescue us from poverty.

Dr. Mashaka's treatise is only a perspective. He makes valid observations that are a part of current analyis of the impact of the globolization and its implications to the gobal south. However to suggest that this guy is the best genious that Tanzania has ever produced I believe says more about the persons making those exagerated claims than it is about Mr. Mashaka.

Mr. Mashaka, things you write makea lot of sense, but for our people, honestly speaking is like wasting your energy.
I find it rather funny, that some can post stupid comments here, especially on heavy issues like this. We are getting poorer, while CCm can bring people , losers from London to come and say CCM hoyee, akili iko wapi watanzania.
This is really stupid and foolish. Huu ni ugonjwa wa akili kusema kweli, and I can say this is the true globalization

Sasa tuone kama hayo matusi yenu yatawapatia hiyo dual citizenship mwaka huu, maana mmefika mahali mpaka tunajiuliza why are these people ambao waliukana uraia wa TZ are so desperate now, mpaka mtu akitoa maoni yake wanamshambulia kwa matusi?

Hata Watanzania waliopo TZ wanaishi mjini nao hutuma matumizi vijijini so it's not a big deal!

Sina shaka kwamba baadhi yenu wana akili nzuri tu, ila akili zenu tutakubaliana nazo pale mtakapo toa challenge kwtu hapa nyumbani.
sasa hivi ni kama vile hakuna hata mmoja ambaye ana upinzani wa hoja zake isipokuwa shayo, il hali mmejaa teteteteteteee mingi bila hata kutaja majina yenu. tobaaaaaaaaa

You and me and all know what the contributers would love to see and read on this blog…..fabrications and falsity! who is doing what and why, who is screwing who and who is not succeeding in life, who is HIV and how happy we are about that, all ‘pieces’ of vapour and nothingness!
I will not be suprised with the negative reception or silence given to your article. If you manage to get 30 comments then your are lucky but look at the number of comments on the stupid and useless photos posted, read the wishes of those who comment! It is pathetic and disheartening but that is part of Tanzania, there is you and them!

While mashaka point of view is quite thought provocking, The fact is that human interference on the rights of others through political, economic or cultural processes of decision-making, result in outright injustice and alienation. Government decisions curtailing Human Rights on the grounds that the end justifies the means for the pursuit of the common good, turn mere decision-makers into gods. Such practice sows the seeds of tyranny. Good governance is only possible within a moral culture that respects the dignity of each person, embodies norms of social justice and has at its core a prevailing ethos of tolerance, cooperation and solidarity.Human Rights are thus respected in any society as the result of the independent and uncoordinated actions of individuals, families, companies and governments, based on cultural and historical ethical values that no official international or national body could ever modify or revoke. On the contrary, the fundamental role of the State is to guarantee them.
Human Rights, democracy, progress and stability go together. In the absence of such a supportive political, social, cultural and ethical context, it is impossible to achieve the cooperative achievements, the sharing of information, the coordination of economic activity and the social order built on trust between individuals and business on which the functioning of a complex, modern and dynamic society necessarily depends.

Societies most characterized today by unrestrained authoritarianism and chronic opportunism are not rich free-market economies, but failed ones. China is a positive case in point. Its recent economic advances surge at the point when they started liberalizing their society.Freedom and full respect of Human Rights are the prerequisites of a healthy economy fueled by free enterprise with social justice. Free enterprise is the best incentive for progress. Social justice is essential for stability. Wherever the rights and freedoms of individual are respected, both those individuals and their society prosper. Consider the new market for Internet services: like so many markets before, it developed from a free -and sometimes quasi anarchic- relationship between competing providers of complementary services in a free stage of social interactions. The resulting Internet role in the development of nations in such a short historical period is undeniable.
Such is the case of the phenomenal outburst of globalization in the last few decades. The centralization that established a single authoritarian voice in the late Soviet empire not only stifled dissent under the cry of "revolutionary unity" but progress and wellbeing too. Even when many rogue countries and tyrannies still survive all over the World, the demise of the Soviet centralization experiment transformed the planet and opened the doors to further the globalization process

basi leo niwape siri ndogo, hakuna mtu anayeitwa Mashaka. Wa maana hiyo I AM SKEPTICAL WITH THE actual existence of this character the author, called John Mashaka. He is never opposed in the public, Michuzi isa lways glorifying him I am always fascinated with his unusual way of thinking. He has a very glossy means of presenting hia ideas to the right audience. Some times what you write seems to good to be true, and that makes me skeptical whether you are the true author of your articles. However, your assessment is mostly applicable in the US and Europe. Tanzania is not in the level or scale of your thinking, tone down your rhetoric, because even though you have convincing power and very valid arguments, it is unfortunate that you are pushing wrong agendas to wrong people. People like Zitto Kabwe are double dealers; they are trying to get what they can from Mining companies and at the same time trying to secure their votes with electorates by throwing any idea into the public. I second your article, it is well written and well researched, hope those in power do read them Mashaka Does not Exist. Globolization is something you (Michuzi) can discuss with your peers and don’t bring in the public forum. Michuzi hacha kutuchezea rafiki yangu sisi ni watu wazima mtu wangu, tuache ka amani, huyu Mashaka kamuuuze kwenye magazeti kwa sababu hakuna character kama Mashaka, ni jina tu umejitungia ili kupromote globu yako bwana, hacha janja ya nyani……….binadamu gani ana akili kama hivyo, hata kamau alisema kwamba huyo atakuwa mkenya kwa maana he does not exit. 1.

the issue of globalization, "is primarily one of governance (at all levels) — how the international community of sovereign states and multilateral organizations copes with global challenges, and how individual nations manage their own affairs so as to play their part, pull their weight and serve their peoples.""It is in our enlightened self-interest to make sure that the losers in this global system. As usual, John Mashaka has no point but whining like a pregnant woman. He has no point at all, just repeating himself, and maybe mad because he is not going to get a seat in the parliament.

Mr. President, being a graduate from OXFORD univerisyt, i do believe we have the same vission for the future. I am quite optimistic therefore, that we are going to be successful

Since I have enough wealth I fit to be your Economics Minister because I'll be a good custodian of our national resources. I'll make sure that all corrupt people are dalt with so that our defense forces can have all they need to protect the nation.

Mr. President, I am sure you are going to be on watch out for people like the self proclaimed Messiah John Mashaka who is deceiving the country for his own good. He is trying to brain wash Tanzanians so that he can be come the president once you retire. He is currently trying to get a favor from you, and all he wants is to be a minister.

Stay steadfast and ignore this opportunist who cares for nothing but his own motives, and power, he wants to grab from the wrong people. I am hopefully that you are going to pay me a close attention so that we can work together. I was a genius from PhD degree and the whole world knows it. I am now working with Robert Mugabe to develop his country destroyed by the west

  91. nabii yohanna, globolzation ndio imekupatia passports tatu, ya Tanznaia, ya Rwanada nay a Marekani.
