A potential Dar es Salam derby final is in the offering in the on-going Cecafa Kagame Castle Club Championships being broadcast live on SuperSport.

Having easily negotiated their way through Group A and Group B respectively, the darlings of Tanzanian football Simba and Yanga could find themselves locking horns for regional supremacy as they look set to cross paths in the final of the regional showpiece event.

But first they must negotiate their way past the quarterfinal and semi-final stages.

Six-time regional kings Simba have a late Tuesday quarterfinal meeting with Ugandan champions Bunamwaya live on SS 9 from 3pm CAT. Victory for the Msimbazi Street Boys sets up a last four encounter with either Kenya’s Ulinzi Stars or Sudan’s El Mereikh who convene in the earlier Tuesday quarterfinal meeting on SS 9 from 13.55pm EAT.
Yanga’s path to the final is currently being blocked by Eritrea’s Red Sea,  and the 1999 champions will be looking to part the Red Sea on Wednesday live on SS 9 from 4pm EAT to set up a potential semi-final clash with either St. George of Ethiopia or Burundi’s Vital’O who play earlier in the day at 13.55pm EAT also on SS 9.
As the championships edge towards the finishing line, SuperSport will have award winning presenter Thomas Mlambo pitch side presenting all the playoff action.
