Barclays Bank Tanzania Limited today
visited the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) to speak to potential graduates
about ‘great careers’ being offered by Barclays and introduce them to an
exciting Scholarshp program that will allow students the opportunity of
receiving one full year of tuition fees and other student fees paid by
Barclays.
A group of Barclays employees were also at the
University to equip the students with important life and professional skills.
For the graduates, Barclays is availing them with two channels to join the bank
i.e.
1) As an entry level graduate or
postgraduate candidate though the resourcing process being followed that will
allow more than 20 candidates to join the bank every year.
2) A special ‘Graduate Development
Program’ running in partnership with Delloite and Touché, providing
opportunities for high calibre - high potential graduates aiming at developing
future leaders of the bank.
Both channels aim at providing a consistent talent pipeline
to meet current and future Human capital demands, taping from more than 300
years of experience and gathered knowledge to train and grow local talent via classroom,
on-the job learning, inter-Africa mobility plan as well as global exposure.
