The Dar Businesmen's Dream TeamSome 15 Dar-es-Salaam businessmen have joined forces to take on corporate sponsored teams in the fast paced world of indoor cricket. The public is invited to show support for the Hennessy Hitters, captained by Kishen Savani, by coming to their opening match at Funkys Orbit (Masaki) on Monday the 31st January, at 9pm.
Hennessy embodies the values of creativity, innovation and the art of living (LVMH). In line with this philosophy, and impressed by the team’s community spirit, Hennessy offered its sponsorship. This is the story of the Hennessy Hitters.
“The team was formed by a group of friends who played cricket when we were younger. “ says Captain Savani. “We have been training hard over the past few weeks, we have a strong squad and we look forward to winning this opening match”.
The Hennessy Hitters team comprises of the following, Kishen Savani (Captain), Chintu Patel (Vice-captain), Kevin Patel, Nishit Kanabar, Imran Hirji, Heri Bomani, Nadir Hirji, Nitesh Patel, Prahlad Nathwani, Rupesh Kanabar, Situ Ramji, Akash Patel, Pullen Manek, Anand Patel and Gopal Patel.
