ReplyDeleteThe speed limit in mbuga za wanyama area is about 30mph or slower and easier to do emergency stops. This is to safeguard the wildlife that may be crossing etc. However, the bozzo drivers who get licences through the back door are putting lives at risk. I am sure the Govt can get foreign experts to train and issue kosha licences to drivers. The mbuga za wanyama stretch, has no traffic police due to fear of wildlife. Therefore drivers use this opportunity to 'step on' the accelerater for fun or to make up time??? All owners of busses should not employ inexperienced drivers just because they are cheaper because in the long run it is costly...lives and material. Then again, they may be after the insurance??? Therefore i suggest the owner should be the first person to be prosecuted. And i mean jella not fine.
ReplyDeleteJamani madereva muwe waangalifu hasa kipindi hiki cha mvua. Mtatumaliza.
