Public Affairs Officer Ms. Marissa Maurer (left) presents a ticket to
Clouds Media Presenter and Brand Manager Ms. Louissa Babbie Kabae, who
will participate in the U.S. Department of State sponsored U.S. Commitment
to Africa Reporting Tour to be held from July 26 through August 8 in the
United States.
Kabae will join more than 20 other African journalists in
a working tour of Washington DC and the City of Atlanta to cover the U.S –
African Leaders Summit and Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Forum hosted
by President Obama.
These two initiatives build on, and seek to further
strengthen partnership between United States and Sub-Saharan Africa in
strengthening democratic institutions, accelerating economic growth,
promoting trade and investments, advancing peace and security and investing in
the next generation of African leaders. For more information about the events
