H.E Michael D. Higgins, President of Ireland

H.E. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, has sent a condolence message to H.E. Michael D. Higgins, President of the Republic of Ireland, following the demise of the former Irish Prime Minister H.E. Albert Reynolds (pictured) on 21^st August 2014.

 The message reads as follows:-

“H.E. Michael D. Higgins

  President of the Republic of Ireland

  Dublin

  IRELAND

Your Excellency,

I have received with great sorrow the sad news about the untimely passing away of the former Irish Prime Minister, the late H.E. Albert Reynolds.

I take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt condolences to you and through you to the family of the deceased, the Government and the people of Ireland during the whole mourning period.

The world will remember the late former Prime Minister Reynolds for his tireless efforts on peace keeping processes. It is my prayer that you remain strong during this difficult moment.

We pray to the Almighty God to rest his soul in eternal peace.

Please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration”.
