Mainland Champions Yanga yesterday lost 0-2 at the hands of hosts Petro Atletico of Angola in the Champions League return leg match played in Luanda yesterday.
Yanga advance into third round of the African top league with a 3-2 aggregate while the Angolan club will play in the Confederation Cup.
The Angolan side scored their two goals in late minutes in the match which Yanga coach Micho and physician Juma Sufian were shown red cards.
Yanga won 3-0 in the first leg match played at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam two weeks ago.
The Dar es Salaam-based team will now meet former African Champions Esperance of Tunisia in the third round.
Esperance breezed into the third round by thumping Zambia`s ZANACO 4-1 in Lusaka on Saturday.
Slama Kasdaoui netted twice in the second half after Esperance had taken a 2-0 lead at halftime through Amine Ltifi and Chakih Lachkam.
The result gave Esperance a 6-1 aggregate win.
Yanga qualified to meet the Angolan club after hammering AJSM of Comoro 5-0 in the first round, first leg match played in Dar es Salaam.
