Kilo ya Dagaa safi toka Kigoma ni kati ya Tshs: 19,000/= hadi Tshs. 20,000/= kwa kilo (USD 11 - USD 12.5 per Kg). Yaani hili ni Balaa Kaka.

Tanzania kwa kweli tunaelekea kubaya. Nadhani asilimia kubwa ya chakula.. tunazalisha nchini (hatuagizi kutoka nje), mfano Mchele, Mahindi (Unga), Sukari, Samaki (na Dagaa), Nyama (Ng'ombe na Kuku na Bata) lakini bei zake ghali kuliko mafuta ya petroli na dizeli. Tatizo ni nini?

Every time when demand is high the supply is always low.So, what makes the price of Kigoma anchovy to increase? The answer is, they're is an immigration of Chinesse people to Tanzania in recent years than before. And the Chinesse people love anchovy than any other ethnic group in the world due high protein and low fat diet. Until, their will be a sort of commercial fishing in Lake Tanganyika to increase the supply of this high commodity the price will stay up.

ReplyDeleteMwaka 2009 nilinunua hao dagaa kwa kilo 4000 tu?, Duh! ama kweli hali inakuwa ngumu. Wakati nikiwa Pr ukirudi nyumbani na kukuta dagaa wamepikwa unakasirika sana walikuwa ni chakula cha mwisho yaani unakula kwa kukosa. Wale wa Mwanza ndiyo walikuwa wanatumika kama chakula cha wanyama. Hii nchi tunaelekea siko.

ReplyDeleteKwenye miaka ya 70 hiki ndio kilikuwa chakula cha kabwela. Hii imekuwaje. Na Maharage nayo hayashikiki yanapanda kila siku. Mbaazi bei juu, mchicha bei juu. Imekuwaje hii. Chakula mpaka kinazidi na kuuzwa nje vipi iwe.
ReplyDeleteWewe mdau mzungu feki wa 10:25:00 dagaa zimepanda bei kutokana na kuwa ni rahisi (ndiyo!) kuliko vyengine. Robo kilo munagawana vizuri familia ya watu 8 mpaka 10.
ReplyDeleteUnachanganya kidogo na nyanya mambo yanakwenda kwa ugali au wali. Yaani likipikwa vizuri ni tamu sana, bila hata ya kuwepo huyo Mchina unayempakazia.
Dagaa ni safi sana na ni chakula chenye afya na Watanzania wengi wametambua hilo. Zamani dagaa lilikuwa kwa masikini lakini sasa limechukuwa nafasi kama ni moja kati ya vyakula adhimu.
